Night 01: | Ha Noi - Lao Cai - Night on train | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Pick you up at your hotel and transfer to railway station at around 20h15 for a night train at 21h15 or 21h50 to Lao Cai. Spend a night on train. Day 01: | Lao Cai - Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Upon arrival in Lao Cai station, pick up and drive to Sapa. After a breakfast, we will take a drive of 6km along the main road to a beautiful spot where your village trek begins. This part offers spectacular scenery of the highest part of Hoang Lien Son mountain range and in a nice day, Fansipan Peak can be seen. Crossing the river by a suspension bridge you will challenge your feet uphill to Y Linh Ho village. Here you will pay visiting to some H'mong families, watching them doing their daily works. After picnic Lunch, the trail continues up and down hill for about 2 hours as you reach to Lao Chai, a large village of the H'mong and then following the river bank to Ta Van of the Zay people, paying visiting to local homes, villages school you will enjoy much your cultural discovery of local ethnic peoples as well as breathtaking scenery of the Muong Hoa Valley. Day 02: | Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa (Breakfast, Lunch) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
After the breakfast, We will leave Ta Van village with the trail uphill, we will pass through impressive terraced rice paddies on the hill slopes before getting through a bamboo forest, a huge waterfall to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Zao peoples. Walking around the village you will meet many women with their embroidery work to make their traditional dresses, occasionally you can see the blacksmiths making farming tools and even hunting riffles. Passing the Muong Hoa river again and then trek uphill to Su Pan village passing the rocks field with unique carving which is believed to be the messages of the ancient peoples. In this village you will see the special technique to build houses on the steep rocky land. From Su Pan you will drive on a Jeep back to Sapa to check in the hotel of your choice, Having dinner and free time to discover Sapa town. Day 03: | Sapa - Bac Ha Colorful Market - Lao Cai - Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch) - Available on Sunday | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
After having early breakfast in the morning we drive to Bac Ha Market. It takes us 3 huor driving to get there. This is the largest market in the region, a place where many ethnic groups gather to buy and sell, eat and drink together. There are 10 minority groups in the Bac Ha region. You can buy homemade handicrafts and clothes. In the afternoon we will have a 2 hour trek to Ban Pho village (Flower H'Mong people).In the village we can have a look in their house and understand little more about their lifestyle and traditional customs. Especially, we can try homemade wine from corn. Finally, we drive back to Lao Cai railway station for a night train back Hanoi. Night on train. At 05h00am in next day, Tour ends.
